Baseball Book for Spring Read Aloud

This time of year, many preschoolers take part in T-Ball and baseball. The hardest thing for these children is the realization that they haven't developed the skill set to play ball and can only achieve that through practice. A tough concept for a five year old.

 My Review: I really enjoyed Jake plays ball because he struggles so much. This book is from Christian publisher, Zondervan so not only does Jake work on his batting moves, but he also prays about his frustrations. He "strikes out" while playing with a friend but then with his Grandmother's help and few props, finally is able to hit a ball. Great book to read-aloud to a pre-k class.
