If you teach in a Christian school here are some activities that emphasize the reason for the season. There are some great coloring sheets, crafts and songs that help you teach the Christmas story.

You could do a short program with the appropriate Bible verses read between each of the above songs. I have had these songs for years so if you know who might have written them, let me know so I can give them credit.
The Legend of the Candy Cane
According to legend there was a candy maker who wanted to invent a candy that was a witness to Christ.
Look at the Candy Cane
What do you see?
Stripes that are red
Like the blood shed for me
White is for my Savior
Who's sinless and pure!
"J" is for Jesus, My Lord, that's for sure!
